Each teacher has a designated entrance where he or she will enter. 

Release times for Elementary:
Grades K-5:

• Mon–Thu 3 p.m.

• Friday– 2 p.m. (Early Dismissal)

We are excited to announce that the construction of the new middle school is officially starting! Work will begin on September 3rd, 2024 with the installation of fencing marking the construction zone.

Due to the fencing, students will not be able to walk across the football field between HES and HMS.  If you have a middle school student who normally uses that route, to ensure their safety, your child will need to use alternative routes to enter HMS. The diagram below outlines the fenced area with a blue line and alternative pathways with black arrows. All pre-k and elementary school pick-up and drop-off traffic patterns will continue without change.

Safety remains a top priority for all of our APS schools. All emergency exits will remain accessible, and in case of an emergency, the red arrows on the diagram indicate the designated exit routes for students.
