💗 Alamogordo Public Schools & the Special Education Department invite you to support COPE Center of Protective Environment through the Pajama Program!
Boxes will be available in Building A of the Administration building, 1211 Hawaii Ave, from December 2 to December 16. New books and pajamas can be added to these boxes. COPE is also in need of new batteries, pet supplies, pillows, towels, and laundry detergent. Monetary donations can be made out to the Center of Protective Environment of Alamogordo.

On the 80th & 120th day of school, APS captures a snapshot of the bus ridership to report to NMPED. The information collected on this day is very important and impacts the funding our district receives for transportation. Transportation funding not only supports students' daily rides to and from school, it can also support in-district school field trips.
On Monday, December 1st, if your child is a bus rider please help us provide an accurate count by having them ride the bus. Thank you and see you soon!

We had the sweetest surprise yesterday. Santa Claus himself stopped by our school! He visited every classroom, spreading joy, laughter, and plenty of Christmas spirit. Each student received a candy cane as a fun way to ring in Fall Break and kick off the holiday season.

Even though Hispanic Heritage Month has passed, this class continued the celebration with a fun and meaningful craft inspired by paleta (ice pop) trucks found in many Hispanic communities.🍧
Students created their own colorful paleta truck designs and wrote sweet, heritage-inspired sentences to go along with them. Their creativity and pride truly shined through!
Moments like this remind us that learning about culture isn’t limited to one month, it's something we can celebrate and appreciate all year long. ❤️✨
