Did you know that socks are one of the most requested, but least donated items for people experiencing hardship? Let’s change that – one pair at a time. 💛We are leading this effort to bring comfort and care to our students, and we’re inviting schools and community members to join in!

🍎🍏 Today in first grade, everything was about APPLES! 🍎🍏
Our students had such a fun-filled day of apple-themed learning. They read wonderful stories like All About Apples, Johnny Appleseed, and Annie’s Apple Farm 📚, enjoyed hands-on activities ✨, tasted different kinds of apples 🍎🍏, and even got to eat apple pie 🥧!
It was the perfect way to mix reading, learning, and fun. We are so proud of our first graders and their excitement for learning! 💙🦅

🥕🥔Roadrunner Food Bank is hosting an upcoming Pop-Up Food Distribution, and they are looking for volunteers! They'll be distributing a large amount of fresh produce and pantry staples to Alamogordo-area families, and they need help to make it happen.

Holloman Elementary was so excited to be part of the STARBASE Holloman Teacher Open House this week!
The event gave us a great preview of what our 5th grade students can expect when they start the program. Including demos, curriculum breakdowns, and a full look at how STARBASE is bringing STEM to life at our district. It was super informative and got us even more excited for our students to dive into all the amazing learning experiences ahead!
Huge thank you to the STARBASE team for hosting and for giving us the chance to be part of something so impactful. We can’t wait to see our 5th graders in action soon! 🚀
